London 2012

We may not have been there for the Olympics, but we still struck gold in a little place called Windsor.

The usual hustle and bustle outside of Windsor Palace.

An emblem honoring one of the first trains that passed through the city many years ago.

Lance Armstrong came along for the trip as well.

The cottages throughout Windsor were adorable and very Harry Potter-esque.

The winding alleyways of Windsor led the way to many pubs and shops all along the waterfront.

Adding to that, the swans that occupied the waterfront were incredibly territorial.

The view across the way, in the direction of the Eaton School for Boys.

The Queen dropped by for a visit.

The 55-ft. ferris wheel. It was so tall you could see some of the sights in London from the top.

A view of Windsor Castle from the top of the ferris wheel. When the flag is raised, it means the Queen is in town.
