I’m obsessed with the Magic Bullet (no joke, my sister and I used to wake up early on Saturday mornings to watch the infomercials as kids). Anytime I want a quick snack, I grab it out of the cabinet and make a quick smoothie. This smoothie’s inception was a complete accident, made by rummaging around the fridge. It packs a ton of vitamins into one small container, giving you a boost of energy and tastes delicious.
What You Need:
- 1 single serving container of vanilla yogurt (I used Yoplait lactose-free)
- 10 frozen bluerberries
- 1 tbsp. grated ginger
- 8 baby carrots, chopped finely for smooth blending
- 1/2 banana
How To Do It:
1. Blend all ingredients together in a Magic Bullet or blender. Play around with different substitutions if you don’t have these exact ingredients readily available. Fruit juice would also be a welcome addition in my opinion.
Makes one smoothie. Ratios can easily be altered to accommodate a larger group.
