Cray Humus

Everyone has heard the song by now, but if you’re “not really into pop culture” (or currently reside under a rock) and do not understand this reference, cray = crazy. The reason this humus is crazy is because it does not use any of the traditional ingredients, with the exception of garbanzo beans. Humus has its origins in the Middle East, where ingredients such as Tahini are incredibly common. As I had none of those ingredients at the time, you all get Cray humus instead.

What You’ll Need:

  • ½ can garbanzo beans
  • ½ cup yellow corn
  • ½ cup craisins
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • Magic Bullet or a food processor

How To Do It:

1. Place all ingredients into your Magic Bullet or food processor and pulse until mixture is smooth.

2. Serve with pita chips, in salads or in wraps. Try this Funky Tuna Wrap Recipe.

Enjoy!
